We're a charity

Marwell Zoo is owned by the world renowned, action-oriented charity, Marwell Wildlife. With an aim to conserve global biodiversity and pursue a sustainable future, our team of Conservation Biologists are behind programmes in both the UK and Africa. Working towards living in balance with nature, our talented scientists create adaptive initiatives to identify some of the most important animal habitats and help restore destroyed ecosystems.
